We are excited to introduce our new PA CareerLink® interns for the Spring 2021 Semester. Our interns will work closely with our team to help support PA CareerLink® programs and services, special projects, and digital outreach efforts. We are looking forward to incorporating their unique talents in our activities over the coming months. Get to know them better through their own words below:
“Hi all, my name is Nusrat Ahmed. I have recently joined the PA CareerLink® team in Wilkes-Barre as their Data Analyst/Human Services Intern. Currently, I am an undergraduate student at King’s College, majoring in Health Care Administration and Human Resources Management. I serve as the Vice President of the Student Alumni Association (SAA) and I am a member of the Multicultural and International Students Club (MISC) and the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). My goal as an intern is to gain valuable insights and experience in this field while contributing to the PA CareerLink® mission to help job seekers and employers. I am beyond grateful for receiving an opportunity to not only demonstrate my value to the team, but also to learn important skills from my talented mentors. I am thrilled to begin a new, yet an exciting journey here at the PA CareerLink® and looking forward to a great semester.”
“My name is Emma Ross, and I am the new Digital Outreach/Human Services Intern with the PA CareerLink® team in Wilkes-Barre. I am a senior at Penn State University Worthington-Scranton, with a major in Corporate Communication and a minor in Business. I look forward to learning how the corporate world operates in a tangible setting and applying the skills I have learned throughout my time in school. I am grateful for this opportunity to learn from professionals working to make a difference within our community.”
