On Tuesday, September 12th, the PA Department of Labor & Industry is observing PA CareerLink® Day in Wilkes-Barre, located at 32 E. Union St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701. Our goal is to encourage anyone who is unemployed or underemployed to join the workforce in PA. To celebrate, the PA CareerLink® Luzerne/Schuylkill Counties we’ll be hosting a series of events throughout the day to highlight how our programs and services help job seekers and community members alike, whether it be training and education to advance along your career pathway or 1:1 job search assistance. We are excited to announce that employers can participate at no cost, joining members of the community in a dynamic networking event. This event is designed to empower individuals and provide valuable resources to help them each reach their full potential!
Here’s what you can expect at PA CareerLink® Day:
- Workforce services tailored to job seekers and individuals seeking training opportunities. Whether you need a professional resume review, interest assessments, or guidance on career paths, our staff will be on hand to assist you.
- Employers and community partners that will assist with exciting job opportunities, networking prospects, and valuable collaborations.
- Food and music for individuals to enjoy a lively atmosphere while they network and explore the event.
- Giveaways and raffles to make the day even more exciting!
