On Tuesday, September 12th, the PA Department of Labor & Industry is observing PA CareerLink® Day in Wilkes-Barre, located at 32 E. Union St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701. Our goal is to encourage anyone who is unemployed or underemployed to join the workforce in PA. To celebrate, the PA CareerLink® Luzerne/Schuylkill Counties we’ll be hosting a series of events throughout the day to highlight how our programs and services help job seekers and community members alike, whether it be training and education to advance along your career pathway or 1:1 job search assistance.
The Pennsylvania Board of Pardons will now be accepting applications to pardon individuals with certain marijuana offenses through the PA Marijuana Pardon Project. All applications must be submitted by Friday, September 30th to be considered.

The Courses to Careers (C2C) Program at PA CareerLink® Luzerne/Schuylkill Counties has offered participants the opportunity to attend mindfulness sessions through the online wellness platform studio BE! This program supports young professionals after graduating with a degree or license to find long-lasting employment in their field.
